Well awwwww snap, I just realized that I've got 2 months left to being all-access LEGAL! I don't know what I'm doing yet, but I'm encouraging you to keep the week around June 16th open. Fun fact: For those of you unfamiliar, surface treating canvases is necessary to their preservation. Otherwise ingredients in the paint eventually eat through the canvas. This is usually done in layers of gesso, rabbit skin glue or PVA. Often this might leave the surface a little rough and sanding is necessary. There happen to be a number of sounds (such as metal scraping metal and that swishy jacket material) that literally make me to gag and puke... Lucky me, the sanding of a canvas happens to be one of them. I have canvases that need to be sanded. Boo.
